About Us
The Budjiti Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC is the ‘Prescribed Body Corporate’ assigned by the Budjiti People to hold and manage native title rights and interests in trust on behalf of the Budjiti community. Our purpose is to build on native title rights and interests to strengthen cultural knowledge, economic opportunity and our authority as Traditional Owners on Country.
As an Aboriginal Corporation, our organisation abides by its Rule Book, which complies with the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006. Our operations are governed by a Board of Directors comprised of two Budjiti People from each descendant line, as appointed by our members.
